Echinocereus dasyacanthus v. rectispinus

One in my collection

Native to Texas, New Mexico and northern Mexico, Echinocereus dasyacanthus v. rectispinus is a pretty rainbow spined cactus to 16 inches high and 4 inches across. Sometimes it's solitary and sometimes it branches at the base. Large showy yellow to pink flowers appear in spring.
This one goes in the garden this year. Several of them in the bunch I bought were blooming, so I know the flowers are going to be pink.
