Echinocereus nivosus

Three small seedlings potted together

Found at altitudes above 6000 feet in Coahuila, Mexico, Echinocereus is a gorgeous white spined clumper with stems 6 inches tall and 1-1/2 inches high. Over time it produces a mound a couple of feet across. In spring it produces bright pink flowers at the stem tips.
I'm going to grow these on for awhile in the pot then maybe pull one out next spring and see how it does in the ground.
