Echinopsis "Lochinvar"

This came from a local nursery simply labled "Echinopsis hybrid, pink flower". I'm pretty sure it's a Schick hybrid called Lochinvar. The flower looks real close and the description of a freely offsetting plant on the Huntington Gardens website is right on. I took several small pups off this one. Interestingly it's named for a character in a Sir Walter Scott poem who was "so faithful in love, and so dauntless in war" It's now almost 5 inches high and wide, and flowers faithfully for me every spring.
