Echinopsis terscheckii Argentine Saguaro

From northern Argentina, Echinopsis terscheckii is known as Cardon Grande by the locals. And grand it is! Considered Argentinas' saguaro these majestic plants can reach heights of 25 feet with stems 10 - 12 inches thick. Not as big as our Saguaro it is still considered the largest cacti in the Echinopsis genus. It branches from the sides very similarly to the saguaro and is sometimes used as a substitute in landscaping because it grows much faster. It's flowers are white tinged with pink and very similar to other Echinopsis flowers in size and shape.
I got this one from Bachs Cactus Nursery in Tucson and put it in the ground where it could get some good sun. It rewarded me by growing almost 3 inches the first season. I wonder how long it takes to get it's first arm? Below are other pictures I've taken of this species.
