Epithelantha micromeris ssp. unguispina

A small one in my collection
Epithelantha micromeris ssp. unguispina is a little larger than the standard form at around 2- 1/2 inches. It also differs in that it generally has a small black central spine and the pink flowers are larger. It also forms a small clump in time.
Got this one at the same time as the others. I noticed some pale pink at the apex this year but no flowers appeared. Oh well maybe it's too early in March. The warmth of the greenhouse in daytime seems to fool some of my cacti into thinking it's spring. But then night falls and some buds just dry up.
Update! April 18th. My little Epi got chilis!! It must have flowered after all, but how it got pollinated I haven't a clue.
