Eriosyce crispa

My E. crispa
Also From northern Chile, Eriosyce crispa is nearly an opposite of E. senilis with long curly black spines. With it's black body and spination it's one of the most interesting in the genus. It reportedly gets to about 4 inches around so mine is nearly grown. I also read it gets similar flowers to E. senilis. That must look gorgeous against all that black!
I never saw a black cactus with black spines before, snatching this one up was a no-brainer. Can't wait to see flowers.
