Eriosyce occulta

My little E. occulta, only about an inch and a half across

From northern Chile, Eriosyce occulta is a slowly clumping dwarf cacti. They rarely exceed 2 inches around. It's deep purple body and nearly spineless form add to it's sculptured look. Flowers are yellow to pinkish orange and come in spring.
Hopefully I can grow this little guy. So far it's made it through the winter and I'm hoping it may flower for me. Someday I hope to have a potfull of them :-) The flower pictures were donated by Geoff, a fellow member of the Davesgarden.com gardening forums. Thanks Geoff :-)
