Native to the Maraņon Valley in Peru, Espostoa ritteri is a columnar to 12 feet tall. That's about all I could find out about it. It's one of the prettier "Fuzzy" cacti from South America.
I think I have two of these to plant in the garden this year. I also obtained a grafted crest from Miles Andesron in spring 2007. It's a real beauty.
