From Parguay, Gymnocalycium eurypleurum is a solitary globular cacti to 5 inches across. That makes this one about full grown. It's upright golden spines contrast nicely with the blue green body as do the pink flowers. One in the group I picked this one out of at B&B had flowers so flower pics shouldn't be too far down the road for this one.
     Update mid May 2007. Got some flowers. Unfortunately they didn't open up very well.
