Gymnocalycium mesopotamicum




     Gymnocalycium mesopotamicum is a small copper spined globular cactus from Argentina. I had read they are solitary and occasionally clumping. Well this one must be one of the occassionals. It's got at least a half dozen pups. The white flowers came in April.
     I had also read that this is a fairly Plain Jane cactus. I beg to differ! Look at those flowers! Click below for more pictures.
