Gymnocalycium paediophilum

From Paraguay, Gymnocalycium paediophilum is a small pale green globular cactus. It is a heavy clumper. Stems are about 3 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. In mid summer it produces pale pink flowers. This species was discovered by F. Ritter in 1963. Click HERE for an interesting page about it from a German Gymnocalycium web site.
I took all the offsets off this one. Momma and babies seem fine and the momma flowered for me on July 10th 2006. Click below for pictures.
