From Cuba and the West Indies, Mammillaria karwinskiana ssp. nejapensis is a solitary or clumping spherical cactus with heads 3 inches around and 5 inches tall. It is nicely spined and wooly and produces red and white striped flowers.
     This one goes in this garden this year. I hope it's a clumper.
