Mammillaria nivosa

From Cuba and the West Indies, Mammillaria nivosa is a solitary or clumping spherical cactus with heads 3 inches around. It has beautiful golden spines and is one of the wooliest mams I've ever seen. It produces yellow flowers in spring.
Like I said I love gold spined cacti. And the wool is a plus. This is a really beautiful cactus. This one gets potted up as a specimen. It would get too dirty in the ground.
