Mammillaria scrippsiana

From Jalisco and neighboring areas of Mexico, Mammillaria scrippsiana is a solitary or clumping columnar that gets to 12 inches high and 4 inches around. The type species has pink flowers in winter. The variety pseudoscrippsiana has striped cream colored flowers and variety autlanensis has yellow flowers.
I thought I had one of these in the garden, but it doesn't fit the description. I'll just have to see what this new one does.
