Melocactus concinnus

From Brazil, Melocactus concinnus is an interesting Melo with it's grey green mottled body and fierce spination. I bought this one at Miles2go.com in 2005 just loaded with fruits and already sporting a nice cephalium. It's about 5 inches around, 6 inches is supposedly as big as it will get. It spits fruits out constantly, apparently they take some time to form. I've had no luck germinating the seeds though. It flowers off and on all summer. The tiny flowers are hard to get a good pic of.
