Austrocylindropuntia vestita

An Austrocylindropuntia vestita cristate in my collection
Native to Bolivia and northern Argentina, Austrocylindropuntia vestita is a fuzzy white cacti similar to Austrocylindropuntia subulata in that it has the vestigial leaves and is unsegmented. The stems can grow up to 20 inches long and a little over an inch thick. It also produces red flowers.
I got this potfull of cristate from Home Depot too late to salvadge it from rot due to overwatering. Fortunately I was able to break it down into cuttings, most of which rooted without a problem.
