Pachycereus schottii monstrosa "Totem Pole"

Found in Arizona and northern Mexico, Pachycereus schottii
is a large columnar with stems up to 8 inches thick and 12 feet tall. It mainly branches from the base
producing magnificent landscape specimens. This is the monstrose form of the plant, thought to be affected
by some sort of virus.
I got one of these last fall and planted it in the garden this year.
