Parodia haselbergii
"Scarlet Ball"



     From Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Parodia haselbergii is a solitary flattened globular cactus to 6 inches around. It is named for the collector, Dr. F. von Haselberg. It has fine needle like white or yellow spines. Scarlet flowers are produced in early spring.
