From Rio Grande de Sul, Brazil, Parodia scopa ssp neobuenekeri is a clumping yellow spined version of Parodia scopa. The heads get to be as much as 3 inches across and it produces the typical yellow Parodia flowers.
     An earlier one was a Home Depot purchase and I removed all the pups. I successfully rooted 4 out of 5 of them. No flowers yet though. The one above was bought at Bachs, just before Cristmas 2006.
