Rebutia canigueralii

A grafted gold spined form

Native to Bolivia, Rebutia canigueralii is a beautiful variable small globular cactus. Heads are gnerally and inch around. Probably the best known of the Rebutias, the former Sulcorebutia rauschii comes in colors from green to a deep reddish purple and shades in between. Spines vary from gold to black. Most are clustering and offsets aren't difficult to root. They produce gorgeous magenta flowers.
I love this plant and have about 4 varieties. I'm hoping the grafted one above puts out offsets because I'm anxious to see some of it on it's own roots. I've taken offsets from all the others and have had good success rooting them.

A more typical form flowering.
