Tephrocactus weberi var. deminuta

Found on rocky mountain slopes in the provinces of Tucuman and Salta, Argentina, Tephrocactus weberi var. deminuta is the white spined form of Tephrocactus weberi which has reddish or gold spines. It is a shrubby plant about 8 inches high. It gradually spreads becoming a low growing bush. Pictures I've seen are of a yellow or yellowish orange flower.
i got this one at a plant sale at Tucson botanical Gardens. I loved the fuzzy look, but it is anything but pettable. I'll plant it in the garden in spring.
