Agave angustifolia "Marginata"

From Mexico, Agave angustifolia is a clumping succulent rosette to 3 foot ascross, sometimes more. "Marginata" is a variegated form named for the white or yellow color of the leaf margins. It's finely toothed leaves are a lot less lethal than those of some Agaves.
This one came from a friend in Phoenix. I'll have to find a suitable place for it in the yard where it has room to form a patch. Hopefully it doesn't grow too fast.
Todd Boland and Xenomorf, fellow members of the Davesgarden.com gardening forums, have allowed me to use their pictures. Thanks guys :-) Todd had a nice pic of a mature rosette and Xeno a nice closeup. Also check out their galleries of other pictures in the Galleries/Friends section.
