Agave ferdinand - regis



     Some consider this synonymous with A. victoria - reginae, but I notice enough differences I'll call it what it was labelled. It has black terminal spines instead of white and the patterning is a little different from victoria - reginae. Probably a cultivar.
     This one is a nice size, say 10 inches around and goes in the Garden this year. There will be more pics after it's planted. The picture below is of a mature specimen at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.
