Agave parrasana is found in the mountains of Coahuila, Mexico, at 4000 feet and higher. It's a smaller Agave, it's rosettes only get to 2 feet across. It's flowers are yellow ringed in red on a stalk about 12 feet high.
     I planted this little one in the garden figuring that's a safe size. Hopefully it's not a fast clumper. It's just now waking up from it's winter slumber. I'll get a nicer pic when it starts into new growth.
