Aloe Jucunda



     From Somalia, Aloe jucunda is a diminutive member of the Aloes with rosettes of hard shiny leaves only 3 to 4 inches accross. They offset and gradually fill a pot creating a pleasant mound of rosettes that turn brownish in bright light and red in winter cold. When all the rosettes flower at once, it is really quite a show. It puts up short stalks of dainty pink tube-like flowers.
