Aloe striata
Coral Aloe

From the Cape Province of South Africa, Aloe striata, is an attractive aloe with blue green leaves with pink toothless margins. The leaves are more thin and flexible than most aloes and striated (striped) with darker green hence the name. The rosettes get to be 18 inches or more in diameter and develop a short trunk over time. Large multiheaded stalks of orange flowers are produced in winter when it does most of it's growing in my climate.
This is a very pretty plant and I hope I can grow it successfully. I bought two as insurance.
