Aloinopsis malherbei "Giant Jewel Plant"

Native to Calvinia, Cape Province, South Africa, Aloinopsis malherbei is an interesting Mesemb with warty tipped leaves and a tuberous root structure. It looks more like Titanopsis than most Aloinopsis and probably comes closest to confirming the genetic relationship between the two. It forms rosettes of short triangular leaves with white bumpy projections at the blunt tips and underneath. Cream or yellow flowers are produced in late winter/early spring.
I lost the plant above from rot unfortunately, but managed to find another one. Here it is flowering in May.
