Also from South Africa, Aloinopsis rubrolineata forms rosettes of roughly textured oval leaves with a tuberous root. It flowers in late winter and the blooms are almost one inch across. Larger than the others that flowered for me.
     This one is also from Miles2Go.com and it has done OK. Not much growth but several flushes of flowers.
