Avonia buderiana

I have to assume that Avonia buderiana is also native to southern Africa. I can find no information available on the Internet even with different spellings. And only a handfull of pictures. Perhaps a newly described species and not much has been published yet? It definately differs from A. Quinaria in that it's stems are three times as thick and branch. They're also thicker and longer than A. buderiana. It also seems to have a more prostrate habit.
This came from the same visit to Miles 2 Go last October. It seems very healthy and I am anxiously awaiting flowers. I know it is flowering size from the dried buds left over from last year. I suppose I should pluck them off, but leave them as a reminder that this plant may yet amaze me.
