Crassula ovata
"Jade Plant"

From southeastern South Africa, Crassula perforata is a shrubby, branching succulent to 18 inches tall. There are several forms including the variegated form above and a miniature version. The tall stems are ringed in rows of opposing oval leaf pairs joined at the base. The stem seems to be threaded through them, hence the common name "String of Buttons". They grow fairly quickly and appreciate light shade and regular water.
