Gasteria
"Little Warty"

Gasteria "Little Warty"is an interesting hybrid with dark green leaves with emerald green markings and a bumpy surface. I can find no info about it, for instance which Gasterias were crossed to get it. But I love the color and it's got several pups. Below are a couple more pics highlighting the color and texture of the plant. It's obvious why they call it "Little Warty".
Update April 2009. The plant had one offset that came out between the lower leaves of the momma. I didn't feel I could take it off and successfully root it. The offsets that form at the base and form some roots of their own are generally more successfull. So I just let it grow and now have a two headed monster and both are forming flower stalks. The last pic is what it looks like now. I'll get flower pics down the road a bit.
