Haworthia coarctata

Native to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, Haworthia coarctata is a columnar forming rosette with white raised markings on the back of the lance shaped leaves. The rosettes can get to 1-1/2 inches across and it offsets slowly, eventually forming clumps up to 5 inches across. In bright light the plant can turn a gorgeous reddish brown as seen above.
I planted this one in the ground two seasons ago and it has weathered just fine. It has started to offset so hopefully in a season or two it will form a nice clump.
