Hoodia macrantha

Found in Namibia, Hoodia macrantha is one one of the largest Hoodias with stems 3 feet high and 3 inches thick. It rarely grows that large in cultivation. It also produces some of the largest flowers, red in color and up to 10 inches around according to Desert Tropicals.
I ordered some of this from Shoal Creek Succulents last fall. It overwintered in the greenhouse and now in mid July it has grown over an inch. I don't know if it's large enough to flower. Click below for some more pictures.
