From Tanzania, Huernia schneideriana is a fast growing trailing succulent with 1/2" stems that can get several feet in length. The stems have numerous fleshy teeth and are so distinctive, it's one of the easiest Huernias to identify without flowers. It branches readily and flowers profusely and makes an excellent hanging plant for the patio.
     This probably the first Huernia in my collection. The picture is of a plant I had a couple of years ago. I made the mistake of leaving it out over winter and it got hurt pretty bad. Fortunately enough survived that I got plenty of cuttings, and one potfull I put together this year may look as nice as the one above by the end of the season.
