Huernia thuretii

From the Eastern cape province of South Africa and Namibia, Huernia thuretii is a small clumping succulent with short squat stems similar to Huernia kennedyana. It was once called Huernia striata for the distinctive striping on the flowers.
I picked up a potfull of this at Home Depot thinking it was Huernia kennedyana. But the stems are a little different and once it flowered I knew I had something else. I tried rooting some cuttings over the winter but they rotted. I'll try again in spring.
