Kalanchoe beharensis "Fang"

;From Madagascar, Kalanchoe beharensis is a normally single stemmed fuzzy leaved succulent to twelve feet tall. It has several forms, one of the most popular being the cultivar "Fang" above of which I have only a small seedling. "Fang" is characterized by the many toothlike projections on the underside of the leaves. The one above has obviously been pruned to encourage branching.
;Mine is growing very slowly and not much to look at yet. Fortunately they had a nice specimen at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Below is another type called "oak Leaf". These plants at B&B Cactus Farm are about 4 feet tall.
