Kalanchoe longiflora

;From the Natal in South Africa, Kalanchoe longiflora is a beautiful scallop leaved succulent shrub to 30 inches high. Grown in strong light the leaves turn reddish orange. It can be made to branch by taking tip cuttings, and the cuttings easily root. As the plant matures the leaves become more elongated and folded and the scalloping gets more pronounced. It is often confused with Kalanchoe somaliensis but has square stems whereas K. somalienis stems are round.
