Senecio articulatus

A Senecio articulatus in my collection

From southern South Africa, Senecio articulatus has attractively marked segmented cylindrical stems topped with decidous leaves with purple undersides. In bright enough light the markings on the blue green stems turn a reddish color. Flowers are white and not particularly showy. The plant is mainly grown for it's foliage and stems.
Another plant lost to rot. This one is now a few cuttings.
